Return and Renew
Rhonda Vroman | JAN 12, 2025
Have you had the experience of receiving information more than once? Have you noticed how, depending upon your situation the information can be received differently?

Words matter, and yet, paraphrasing the words of Swami Kripalu, the experience is what allows those words to be meaningful, to impact our world. There are ancient tenants – be they from a wise teacher, scripture, or other sources – that we return to again and again for renewal. Many times this return comes with a different insight, another layer of revealing, if you will.
Within the practices of life, we are invited to return and renew, again and again. You may be seeing some this appear in the tapestry of your life as this new year takes root.
I get to live in a desert setting near a mountain that offers ever changing sunrises and sunsets. Simply watching the mountain shadows shift and change as the sun sets is a simple reminder of how returning to the same physical setting can invite awe, a reverent form of renewal, as the setting sun creates a new weaving of light, shadow and color.
During the upcoming seven weeks, join me as we revisit the key energy centers, also known as chakras, in our body. In this Journey through the Chakras information will be shared followed by an experience that invites awareness into specific parts of the body, and wrapped up with an invitation for ongoing exploration after the class ends.
This series will be offered as part of the classes I offer; Tuesday at Spirit of Yoga in Tempe at 1:30 PM and Thursdays via Zoom at 7:30 AM. Join me to return and renew, exploring ancient understanding with somatic experiences and current life application. You can join for all or some of these classes.
The first day, (Tuesdays) is at Spirit of Yoga (1:30 PM) and the second (Thursdays) online via Zoom (7:30 AM).
