Unraveling Disquiet: A Season of Replenishment and Rediscovery

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind, leaving me physically drained, mentally restless, and emotionally frayed. My body felt sluggish, my mind restless and edgy, emotions clinging like tangled threads. A familiar discomfort, yes, but amplified, its sharp edges poking through.

As a champion of embracing discomfort, this felt different. It wasn't a fleeting twinge in a pose or a situation, but a pervasive disquiet, unsettling as it was insightful. My usual "power through" muscle memory had kicked in, a reliable friend helping me ensure commitments were met,  yet whispering of a spiritual disconnect that gnawed at me, that felt hollow, spiritually jarring. Yet, amidst the discomfort, a spark of gratitude arose. I was seeing, feeling, and being with these nuanced sensations that would have previously gone unnoticed. Now was a time for intentional replenishment, for restoring balance, for nourishing.

The season's radiant light reminds us all to breathe, to weave moments of connection with ourselves and each other. The full moon whispers, and regardless of religious orientation, the season speaks a universal truth: light disperses darkness effortlessly.

At the heart of it all lies love. Loving ourselves, those around us, even the stranger on the street. Recognizing that, deep down, all we truly seek is love. This innate, familiar love exists within us, waiting to be rediscovered. We simply need to peel back the layers of busyness, distractions, and glossing over, to tune into our true selves and turn inwards, where quiet answers lie waiting.
